Hours: 14.9 hours per week (Monday & Tuesday Day Shifts)
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Radiographer, to work as part of our small, friendly, hardworking team.
You will be the lead practitioner and expert resource in the performance and provision of Dental Radiography. You will be expected to teach and supervise Radiographers, Undergraduate Radiography and Dental Students, Dental Nurses and HCSWs. You will also operate complex, expensive equipment with a busy, unpredictable workload.
NHSG Radiology Department provides imaging services to approximately 620,000 people living in Grampian, Orkney and Shetland. NHS Grampian is in an exciting phase of modernisation of which Radiology is key. The board are investing £120 Million for the Baird Family Hospital which will bring together Maternity, Gynaecology and Breast Services on one site along with The ANCHOR Centre which will provide outpatient and day patient treatment for patients with Cancer and Blood Disorders. Regional planning is also underway through aligned national and regional programmes of work.
For this post, the successful candidates will be educated to degree level in Diagnostic Radiography with current HCPC and have previous experience as a Band 6 Radiographer.
