Stock Controller
Our client in the Healthcare industry is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Stock Controller to join their team. This role involves travelling to various hospitals across the Midlands to manage the stock control of our client's products following deliveries from their HGV drivers. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of stock levels, thereby contributing to the seamless operation of healthcare services.
Location: Midlands, United Kingdom
Salary: £12.50phr
Hours: 6am - 4pm (4-day week)

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct stock control at various hospital sites across the Midlands.
Receive and check deliveries from HGV drivers, ensuring all products are accurately accounted for.
Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring adequate supply and avoiding shortages.
Utilise an iPad for accurate and efficient stock taking.
Operate power pallet trucks to move stock safely and efficiently within hospital environments.
Record and report any discrepancies in stock levels.
Liaise with hospital staff to ensure stock is stored correctly and is easily accessible.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all stock handling activities.
Travel between multiple sites using a company-provided van, adhering to scheduled visits and timelines.
Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous manner when interacting with hospital staff.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a stock control or inventory management role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with hospital staff and HGV drivers.
Proficiency in using stock control software and systems, including iPads.
Experience operating power pallet trucks.
Valid UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel extensively across the Midlands.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites efficiently.
Customer-facing skills with the ability to work effectively within hospital environments.
