We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and efficient Assistant Director for Community Hospitals Transformation to join our executive team on a secondment contract for 24 months.

Main duties of the job
Could you use your skills and experience to support the NHS to deliver great patient care? Great patient care needs great people to support clinical teams. That's where you come in.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to Masters level or equivalent relevant experience; Post-graduate management or Project Management qualification
Skills and abilities
* Ability to absorb and assimilate complex and conflicting information and data, identify solutions, and make informed decisions at pace
* Current professional clinical registration e.g., with the NMC / HCPC / GPC
Experience
* Evidence of leading large-scale change management programmes within a clinical and/or healthcare environment
* Extensive experience at provider and/or system level, ideally with in-depth experience of community settings; Experience of effective partnership working across boundaries and with a range of departments, partners, and agencies in complex multi-agency environments
* Significant experience in a senior leadership role, working across a multi-agency footprint; Significant experience of managing people, quality, finance, and performance
* Proven ability to manage a broad range of complex activities or projects through the development of long and short-term plans and efficient use of resources
* Evidence of working within an effective coaching culture that delivers continual quality improvements
Knowledge
* Extensive knowledge of community hospitals strategies and required national and local reporting structures
Skills and Abilities
* Ability to directly lead required organisational change and think through creative and pragmatic solutions to service development and redesign
