They will also be expected to see patients under consultant supervision in outpatient clinics including antenatal clinics, gynaecology clinics and the early pregnancy assessment unit. There will also be opportunities to assist in elective obstetric procedures and general gynaecological surgery including the day case and inpatient elective surgery.
