The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications. What will your responsibilities be : The Band 5 Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including preparing and dispensing medications, managing stock levels, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Additional duties include providing advice on medication usage, assisting in the training of junior staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. The technician will also be involved in aseptic preparation and Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) duties to ensure the accuracy and safety of medications. Qualifications and Experiences : NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting Experience with aseptic techniques and ACT duties Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care How to apply?
