Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Enter Engineering as an Engineering Trainer and Assessor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a time-served engineer with strong mechanical maintenance experience to make a meaningful difference in the lives of future engineers.
Job Summary:
This role involves developing and delivering high-quality training sessions, assessing learner progress, and ensuring all learner documentation is accurately completed and submitted. You will be responsible for monitoring learner progress, maintaining learner tracking systems, and managing learner discipline. Additionally, you will oversee the management of equipment, tooling, and materials required for training, and maintain a high standard of housekeeping and ensure facilities are in good working order.
Key Responsibilities:
* Education, Training & Assessment:
• Develop and produce tailored training plans for apprentices.
* Apprentice Management:
• Monitor learner progress, ensuring apprentices meet their agreed targets.
* Training Facility Maintenance:
• Oversee the management of equipment, tooling, and materials required for training.
Requirements:
* A time-served engineer, ideally with strong mechanical maintenance experience.
* A passion for education, training, and developing others.
* The ability to effectively communicate and engage with apprentices.
* Strong organisational skills to manage training plans and learner progress.
