About Our Business Services Team: As an AAT student accountant, you will join our Business Services team where you will have the opportunity to help deliver an exceptional service to our first-class and diverse client portfolio. The client base is extensive, ranging from the business affairs of high net worth individuals to multi-national groups. We are involved in the full spectrum of businesses, from start-up and entrepreneurial companies to mature groups, across a wide variety of commercial sectors such as: motor sport, high end retail brands, property development, technology, financial services and the ‘not for profit’ sector. About Our AAT Programme: Our AAT Programme places you in our Business Services team, setting the stage for a successful career at Rawlinson & Hunter LLP. You’ll undergo a dynamic two-year training period to complete your AAT qualification, followed by a three-year journey to complete your ACA qualification and become a qualified Chartered Accountant. We are committed to nurturing talent, and many of our students choose to stay with us post-qualification, evolving into future managers and Partners. What You’ll Do as a Business Services Apprentice: Coding and inputting of invoices onto Xero, Sage, Infor10 (Sun accounts) and other accounting packages as applicable Organising approval of purchase ledger entries Processing payments via BACS or cheque Writing cheques and organising signatures with the partners Updating cash books Bank reconciliations Preparation of VAT returns Uploading information onto client intranet sites Filing and archiving Ad hoc data input What We're Looking For: Minimum of grade A-C 3 A-Level subjects (or equivalent). Minimum 9 – 6 Grade in English and Maths at GCSE (or equivalent). A strong desire to pursue a long-lasting career in accounting. Passion for numbers and keen attention to detail. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
