Overall Purpose of the Role:
The overall purpose of the Event Cost Controller (ECC) role is to effectively support the unit's operation through a managed Cost of Sales and controllables service development.
More about the role:
To assist the team to manage the ordering, processing, stock control and invoices relating to all orders placed ensuring the smooth planning and delivery of a first class catering product to our clients and customers whilst managing the business needs and performance standards.
To provide essential support to the Location Accountant and Finance Business Partner in ensuring effective financial management within the organisation. This involves analysing the financial performance of on-site teams to identify strengths and weaknesses, assisting in driving performance improvements through cost-saving initiatives, and monitoring the financial impact of change initiatives. Additionally, the ECC handles various financial administrative tasks, such as Purchase Ledger queries, overviewing stock take process, and preparing cost reports, to maintain accurate financial records.
Through collaboration and communication with stakeholders, the ECC facilitates alignment and coordination, ultimately contributing to the organization's financial success and achievement of its objectives.

Who you are:
Minimum of 2 years experience in financial role.
Experience in catering industry is an advantage.
Working towards a recognised Accountancy qualification.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel (strong Excel ability).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Experience in supporting change initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams is desirable.
Proactive and collaborative approach with a keen attention to detail.
Commitment to accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Self-motivated
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Passion for contributing to the overall success of the organization through sound financial management practices.
