Academic Quality Officer
Location: Cirencester, GL7 6JS
Salary: Grade 6: £28,759 - £33,965 per annum
Contract: Fixed-term to end of July 2025, full-time (part-time and flexible working options are available)

The University is pursuing an ambitious strategy to improve quality, standards and the student experience. To deliver these goals, we are growing our Academic Quality team in the Academic Services Department and are seeking to recruit an additional Academic Quality Officer.
In this role, you will support the activity of the Academic Quality team, working with programme teams and senior stakeholders to ensure that there are rigorous and effective processes in place to assure the quality and standards of our degrees. Reporting to the Academic Quality Manager, the post-holder will work with other Academic Quality Officers in the team to provide an efficient service to members of the academic staff and external examiners.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the Academic Quality team in ensuring quality assurance processes are effective.
2. Collaborate with programme teams and senior stakeholders.
3. Manage complex records and analyze data.
4. Provide support to academic staff and external examiners.
Qualifications:
1. Considerable experience in higher education administration.
2. Experience with quality assurance processes.
3. Excellent written communication skills.
