About the role
The Centre for Teachers and Teaching Research (CTTR) is seeking to appoint a Research Fellow (Grade 7, Salary: £43, - £51, per annum, inclusive of £5, per annum London Allowance) to undertake quantitative research within a range of existing funded educational research and consultancy projects. The postholder will be an active member of the CTTR and CPA. You will contribute to the development of research proposals, respond to tender applications, and contribute to and lead writing projects. You will also contribute to a vibrant programme of stakeholder engagement and impact activities. In addition, there will be opportunities to teach and supervise students, according to the successful candidate’s experience and interests.
We will consider appointing a suitably experienced candidate as a Senior Research Fellow (Grade 8, Salary: £52, - £61,, inclusive of £4, per annum London Allowance), in which case the postholder would additionally be expected to lead the development of new funding proposals and a programme of activities related to the aims of the CTTR.

About you
The successful candidate will have a PhD and or equivalent in a relevant subject area and have proven knowledge of quantitative research techniques and methodologies applicable to educational research. You will have evidence of a developing publication record with potential for publication in high quality academic journals or similar. In addition, you will have proven ability to analyse quantitative data and to integrate it with insights from theory and with qualitative research where appropriate. You will also have the ability to present quantitative information effectively to a range of audiences, including data visualisation approaches.
