An excellent opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and driven individual to join our Capital Worksteam. The Project Manager will lead and manage a small team to deliver the company’s capital and revenue programme. You will work with other stakeholders on the planning and delivery of a diverse project portfolio including refurbishment, conversion, structural repairs, and energy performance improvements to Beyond Housing's existing stock.
You will need to have excellent communication, people, and financial skills to manage a number of important programmes on time and within budget. You will be required to identify pressure points and problem solve throughout the programme life cycle stages.
You will be required to work efficiently ensuring you meet a variety of deadlines in a challenging but rewarding environment, with a good understanding of health and safety practices, as well as having excellent IT skills.
A relevant qualification in project management or demonstrable experience is essential for the role to be able to successfully deliver projects with both in-house labour and principal contractors.
Beyond Housing supports agile working, and as a Project Manager you will have the opportunity to do this. You will have the flexibility to work from the office, remote locations, and/or home. This will also include working across all our locations, so a driving licence and access to a vehicle is a must. We understand how important your work environment is when joining a new company, so we will collaborate with you to ensure your work setting is suitable for you.
This role is also available as a secondment opportunity for internal candidates, subject to agreement with your current line manager.
