Due to a secondment an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Clinical Systems Team for the role of System Improvement and Delivery Lead.
Main duties of the job
The System Improvement and Delivery Lead role will support the Clinical Systems Team and the Information and Data Quality Analyst to manage the coordination of a range of projects and process improvement initiatives.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will report to the Clinical Systems Manager, and will work closely with and receive work packages from the Clinical Systems Manager and Information and Data Quality Analyst to ensure that the work stream of programmes are planned and managed effectively and take the lead in assisting in their successful delivery.

Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or specialist knowledge in this field through practical experience
* Evidence of ongoing learning and development
Experience
* Experience of working with patient or customer focussed IT based systems
* Clinical application testing experience
* Experience of using service desk software for call logging and incident management
* Training and testing experience
* Experience of working with Dedalus Clinicom/PatientCentre
Knowledge
* Understanding of customer/user issues and how they impact on use of IT systems
* Data quality standards applicable to the data and processes being supported
* Knowledge and awareness of different systems used within an NHS Trust
* Understanding of Information Governance issues when using patient based systems
* Understanding of issues affecting clinical services.
Skills
* Skills in using a patient or customer focussed IT system.
* Advanced keyboard skills and ability to use personal computer software for the majority of the day including Microsoft applications, most notably Excel and Access
* Communication with users and colleagues by telephone, in writing and face-to-face.
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to act on own initiative, self-motivate and prioritise workload.
