As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning, social development, and daily activities. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with SEND
* Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
* Supporting students during lessons, helping to reinforce learning objectives and provide additional guidance when needed
* Fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
* Promoting inclusion and diversity within the school community
* Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements include:
* Previous experience working with children with SEND is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is advantageous
