Position Title: Senior Account Executive, Octagon Experiences
Contract type: Permanent
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Account Executive to join a dynamic team, working with major sponsors in various sport properties over this summer and beyond. The role is ideal for someone with a passion for sport hospitality events with a minimum of 2 years of events and/or hospitality-based experience.
This role will assist the account teams responsible for sponsorship portfolios. We’re looking for candidates who are highly detail-oriented, possess solid account management skills, and have a passion for Marketing, Sponsorship, and live Events.
The successful candidate will join a team working on, but not limited to, The UEFA Champions League Final, Wimbledon & The Open Golf Championship. Responsibilities will include supporting the management of the wider guest program including hospitality and ticketing, vendor liaison, gifting, transport, registration as well as onsite hosting. You will also contribute to the day-to-day administration of the account in the UK, including budget management, asset tracking, and weekly status reporting.
You will be responsible for:
* Supporting the account team in the day-to-day planning and management of a global event
* Account administration including ownership of status documents, monthly reporting, and collateral
* Research and management of suppliers, from branding to accommodation and transport
* Event and asset management, tracking and delivery including management and allocation of tickets in a mobile ticketing system
* Assisting in producing operational reports as required
* Managing guest information updates and communicating with relevant managers on-site (Transportation, Hotel, F&B, Tickets, etc.)
* On-site event delivery including guest liaison, supplier management, and team support
* Supporting the team delivering a major event with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
* International travel is required

It’s not essential but will help if:
* You are fluent in any other languages.
* You have a degree or equivalent qualifications.
* You have agency experience working in a similar role, ideally with experience in the hospitality and/or travel arena.
* You have an interest and experience in sports events.

The following dates reflect the onsite delivery dates for the respective clients & projects and are a mandatory part of the role:
* UEFA Champions League Final, Munich: 26th May – 1st June
* Wimbledon: 3rd – 10th July
* The Open, Royal Portrush: 14th – 21st July
