Novalis Trust is a charity that supports children and adults with Neurodevelopmental Difficulties and other learning needs, and Cotswold Chine School is a small environment of 56 children aged 7-19. We are looking for an Art teacher with QTS, preferably with experience of teaching Photography and Art at GCSE level.
We are a supportive team who welcome teachers looking to begin a career in special educational needs teaching. We specialise in trauma-informed, attachment-focused relationship based, therapeutic approach to teaching.
Responsibilities for this role:
· The successful applicant will work within a team of two other Art teachers to ensure the Art, Photography and Textiles curriculum is covered across KS2 to KS5.
· Working with a wider Arts team (Music, Drama and Art) as we work towards the Artsmark award.
· At our schools the successful candidate will teach and nurture small class groups of 4-8 students with the support of other experienced practitioners.
· The successful applicant will have the opportunity to be mentored by experienced team within the Arts department.

* From £30,000 (ECT’s). Teachers with relevant experience will be placed at the appropriate level of the pay scale.
