HR and Recruitment Generalist
About The Role
Dals are on the lookout for an exciting new role at the heart of the business, a HR/Recruitment Generalist. The role will be full time, 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday and report into the People & L&D Business Partners. We're looking for a dynamic driven individual with previous HR and recruitment experience desirable. We work on a hybrid basis with one working from home day per week, the other working days in the Old Trafford, Manchester Office.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide HR advice and guidance to employees and front-line managers
* Provide recruitment best practices and training to line managers
* Respond to queries received in HR ticketing system
* Employee life-cycle maintenance including adding new starters onto various systems and processing leavers
* Build and manage relationships with apprenticeship providers, local councils, training providers and job boards
* Contract variations and issuing
* Experience in recruitment and references
* Support with on-boarding, ensuring all references and checks are obtained prior to staff starting
* Maintenance of employee portals, benefits etc
* Auditing and maintaining personnel files
* Support Line managers with attendance and performance issues and performance plan maintenance
* Attend ER meetings and prepare associated paperwork
* Training and upskilling managers on the ATS, management and development of ATS and recruitment processes
* Building out and streamlining people team admin and processes
* Curate and manage employee experiences coordinating with people plan
* Coordinating health and safety visits and training
About You
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships
* Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in candidate assessment and documentation
* Self-motivated, resilient and driven to achieve targets and deliver results
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, and online platforms.
* Experience in fast-paced commercial HR roles
* CIPD Fully or part qualified, previous experience in similar role
