The Part You’ll Play… McCann Manchester is on the lookout for a creative, driven and enthusiastic Marketing Manager with a growth mindset to join our Growth team. The candidate will play a key role in scaling our business and be responsible for leading and managing all our content creation and marketing initiatives to help achieve our annual growth objectives. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Growth team to drive new opportunities in key areas including Creative/Advertising, Social Media, Agile Production, and Brand Experience. This role requires someone who can bring strategic thinking, creativity, and strong writing and project management skills to the table. You should have a solid grasp of the marketing industry and be ready to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams to drive results. What You'll Do ... Shape our content strategy: Develop and execute a marketing plan that aligns with our growth targets, focus sectors and key capabilities. Create compelling and relevant content: Lead the content creation of a variety of marketing assets/ materials, including (but not limited to) thought leadership, podcasts, newsletters, case studies, marketing/prospect campaigns, social media content, website, events and much more. Work across teams: Work with our Growth team to understand content needs and ensure everything we create is engaging and effective. Coordinate with internal teams like designers and videographers to bring your ideas and content to life. Build relationships with colleagues at all levels of the business to discover thought leadership opportunities and stories of interest, and collaborate on content. Measure & Improve: Stay on top of industry trends to keep our marketing / content fresh, relevant and innovative. Track the success of campaigns and share results with the team. 1. Develop a marketing and content plan to support the agency’s annual growth plans and objectives
2. Work with Business Development Directors to create tailored content that align with our audiences (prospects/brands/intermediaries)
3. Manage the creation of various marketing assets/materials, from videos and podcasts to newsletters and social media content (but not limited to)
4. Coordinate with PR and Comms to ensure a consistent message across all touchpoints.
5. Manage budgets and timelines to keep projects on track.
6. Stay current with industry trends to keep our marketing and content cutting-edge.
7. Manage the CRM for client and prospect data, engagement and measurement
As Marketing Manager You’ll Bring…
8. Previous experience in PR, Marketing or Communications preferably within an agency environment
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and convey marketing messages
10. Ability to work with colleagues at all levels of the business
11. Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
12. Sharp eye for detail and can work to deadlines
13. Strong research skills – lateral thinking and internet savvy
14. Working knowledge of social media platforms
