The Role:
1. To manage Quality Requirement Satisfaction on a defence programme.
2. To ensure that the Plan to meet all Customer and Regulatory quality requirements is maintained and followed.
3. To review Purchase Order requirements to ensure all relevant Quality requirements will be met.
4. To investigate failures utilising the FRACAS and implement Root Cause & Corrective Action.
5. To conduct Internal Audits and support External Audits.
Responsibilities:
1. Advise teams on requirements for Pt21G/Pt 145 / AS9100 / AS9102.
2. Maintain and update Customer facing Quality deliverable documents.
3. Ensure all requirements of the programme are proactively met.
4. Report and investigate quality failings and implement fixes and improvements as appropriate.
5. Ensure performance exceeds Customer expectations for assigned Customers.
6. Ensure flow-down of regulatory Quality requirements.
7. Engage with Operations to develop a professional and responsive relationship.
8. Maintain RCCA process - 24 hours Containment, 5 days Correction, 30 Corrective Action.
9. Ensure root causes are clearly defined and corrective actions implemented.
10. Lead Quality investigations using 8D problem solving techniques.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Understanding of Aerospace, Quality System and Regulatory Standards.
2. EASA Part 21G, Part 21J and Part 145 trained.
3. Experience reviewing and creating AS9102 standard FAIRs.
4. Understanding of Quality tools and techniques.
5. Technical knowledge and ability to interpret Engineering Specifications.
6. Knowledge of MRP and IT software solutions.
7. Experience in Continuous Improvement.
8. Ability to train, mentor and coach individuals on Quality improvement objectives.
