The revitalised estate will feature:
* 5 events and conferencing venues with a capacity of around 20,000 people; operated by ASM Global through Olympia Events
* A 1,575-seat theatre, the largest new purpose-built theatre in London in almost 50 years, operated by Trafalgar Entertainment
* A 4,000-capacity live music hall, operated by AEG Presents
* 30+ restaurants, bars and eateries, with operators including Incipio and D3 Collective
* 2 new hotels: citizenM London Olympia and Hyatt Regency London Olympia
* A boutique gym, operated by 1Rebel
* Wetherby Pembridge, a new co-educational senior school focusing on academia, sports and the creative arts, operated by the Inspired Education Group
* 550,000 sq ft of state-of-the-art offices offering the largest rooftop terraces in west London and flexible, interactive workspaces
The new venues at Olympia will start opening from the second half of 2025.
Role Overview:
The Estate Director will deliver strategic leadership and stakeholder management across all areas of operation within the Olympia Estate, which encompasses an exclusive mixed-use development combining high-end F&B, hospitality, events, entertainment, and commercial venues. As Estate Director, you will drive key operational, communication, leadership strategies, and financial management of operational budgets across the estate.
As an inspiring leader, you will be the face of the estate, driving opportunity and best practice across all areas. You will act as a key ambassador for Olympia, overseeing internal teams, managing customer relations, and curating an exceptional experience for all visitors, and businesses.
The successful candidate will collaborate with a wide array of high-profile stakeholders and ensure Olympia's brand, values, and standards are upheld at every stage. Delivering an unparalleled level of service and sustainability, exceeding expectations and creating an environment that inspires all who engage with it.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate and manage a high-performing team dedicated to delivering a high-quality experience across all areas, fostering collaboration & accountability.
* Oversee day-to-day operations of the development, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across all areas.
* Develop and implement operational strategies and best practices to maintain high quality, customer-focused environment.
* Act as the key ambassador for Olympia Estate Services Ltd, managing customer relations and curating an exceptional experience for all visitors, residents, and businesses.
* Collaborate with high-profile stakeholders to uphold Olympia's brand, values, and standards at every stage.
* Manage annual Service Charge budgets and monitor operational financial performance.
* Work in partnership with the Head of Health & Safety and Head of Security to drive overall site compliance.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in managing large, high-quality, high-footfall destinations.
* Extensive experience in estate management within the commercial and hospitality/events sectors.
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with complex multi-stakeholder engagements.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
