Job summary Due to service development and reconfiguration a post has become available in the North Wales Central Community Paediatric Service. Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in Community Child Health within Conwy and Denbighshire, to assist in providing specialist child health services across Conwy and Denbighshire. The successful candidate will join a team of 3 other Community and 8 Acute Consultant General Paediatricians and 7 Consultant Neonatologists to provide integrated and comprehensive child health services across the Conwy and Denbighshire areas of North Wales. Main duties of the job The successful applicant will work with the other community paediatricians to develop integrated Child Health Services in the Health Board. The post is mainly clinical, with a teaching/supervision component. Proposed areas of clinical responsibility for the team are outlined below and subject to discussion with the successful candidate and depending on expertise. The post holder will share the duties below with the existing Consultants and their teams, each leading on agreed aspects of the work.
