As a Graduate Lighting Engineer in our Highways and Infrastructure team, you'll collaborate with offices across the UK and internationally. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and commissioning external lighting schemes, conducting environmental lighting impact assessments, and contributing to projects that enhance both public and private sector environments.,
* Technical Excellence:
* Design residential and infrastructure street lighting schemes in accordance with BS5489-1:2020 and BS EN 12464-2:2014 standards.
* Develop and verify low voltage (LV) private cable networks.
* Produce contractual documentation, including specifications and bills of quantities.
* Conduct environmental lighting impact assessments and site inspections.
* Project Delivery:
* Create design drawings and schematics using BIM software.
* Stay updated with advancements in electrical technology and health and safety legislation.
* Ensure compliance with Mott MacDonald procedures and CDM Regulations 2015.
* Contribute to client satisfaction and foster trusted partnerships.
* Leadership & Management:
* Support team leaders and project managers in maintaining a collaborative and high-performance culture.
