Are you a Maths specialist looking for a new role?
Is flexible working hours something that you are looking for?
Here at TP Tutors (Specialist Tuition Branch of Teaching Personnel), we are looking for Maths tutors needed to support pupils outside of mainstream school education across Nottinghamshire, in particular Ashbourne (DE6). We have been requested to find qualified Maths teachers and Maths tutors who can support students requiring additional tuition and intervention support. You will have the opportunity to teach Maths to looked-after children, low-achieving students, and many more.
TP Tutors cover all of Nottinghamshire, so you will have Maths tutoring opportunities on a flexible basis matching your availability, whether that be one day or five days a week. Funded directly through local authorities and virtual schools, the role of a Maths tutor is highly rewarding as you can make a significant impact on a young person’s educational experience and track their progress through regular targeted sessions in Mathematics.
If you are a Maths teacher looking to tutor students, you will need to meet the following criteria:
1. Have experience delivering the Maths curriculum in the UK across KS3 and KS4.
2. No QTS required – just some form of tuition experience is needed.
3. Provide regular reports monitoring progress made by the students tutored.
Main highlights of working as a Maths tutor through TP Tutors:
1. Hourly rates between £25-£30 depending on your experience and available funding.
2. Flexible work schedule with a reduced workload from full-time teaching.
3. Opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis, making a significant impact on the attainment of the students you tutor.
If you are currently employed as a Maths tutor or have been employed as a Maths teacher and are looking to step into tutoring, we welcome your application. You will need to provide suitable references and be eligible for a DBS application.
