About the Role: Teaching Personnel is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 boy in Lytham St Annes. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored 1:1 support to a Year 4 boy with SEMH needs.
* ️ Assist in developing and implementing strategies to manage emotional and behavioural challenges.
* Foster a nurturing and supportive environment to help the student thrive academically and socially.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to ensure consistent and effective support.
* Monitor and report on the student's progress and well-being.
* Encourage positive social interactions and help build the student's confidence.
Requirements:
* ✅ Experience working with children with SEMH needs, preferably in an educational setting.
* Strong understanding of SEMH and the challenges faced by students.
* ️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to build strong, positive relationships with the student and staff.
