We're seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst who brings expertise in Murex modules, end-to-end trade lifecycle management, and stakeholder collaboration, delivering innovative trading and risk solutions for global markets to join the existing team to ensure effective delivery of the go live date in 2025. Key Responsibilities for the position of Murex Consultant / Business Analyst – Murex Implementation Murex Implementation Expertise: Drive migration, integration, and optimisation of Murex versions (v55/v56 preferred). Design and implement workflows for trading, back office operations, and compliance reporting. Oversee customisations and mapping of Murex with third-party platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, TradeWeb, MarkitWire). Functional Leadership: Collaborate across cross-functional and cross-regional teams to gather detailed requirements. Lead workshops and mentor junior analysts, ensuring project alignment with strategic goals. Engage directly with front office, back office, and regulatory teams to address complex trading challenges. Regulatory and Compliance Alignment: Manage EMIR and MiFID-related regulatory changes within the Murex platform. Ensure smooth integration of compliance workflows, including settlement and risk calculations. Technical and Analytical Support: Work with mxml exchange, Unix, and SQL tools for debugging and data analysis. Support configuration of rate curves, PnL calculations, and settlement workflows. Key Skills & Experience Required for the position of Murex Consultant / Business Analyst – Murex Implementation Murex Proficiency: 5 years in Business Analysis roles, with 2 years specialising in Murex implementations and upgrades. Deep understanding of Murex modules: Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Accounting, and Datamart. Financial Product Knowledge: Hands-on experience with financial instruments such as FX, Bonds, IRDs, Swaps, and Derivatives. Technical Capabilities: Strong skills in Unix, SQL, Jira, Jenkins, and integration protocols (SWIFT, OSP). Experience debugging and managing data exchanges within Murex and third-party systems. Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead teams and mentor analysts, balancing delivery and team dynamics. Exceptional communication skills to interact with stakeholders across global locations. Preferred Qualifications for the position of Murex Consultant / Business Analyst – Murex Implementation Prior experience with Murex upgrades (e.g., v55 to v56) or migrations from legacy systems (e.g., Summit). Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies to enhance CI/CD pipelines. ITIL and ISTQB certifications are an advantage.
