For this vacancy we will need you to hold a full driving license and have access to your own vehicle. We give a generous mileage rate at 45p per mile for using your own vehicle. All colleagues are also paid the hourly rate for travel time up to 2 hours between shifts.
The Role
We'll guarantee you heaps of job satisfaction, no two days are ever the same. You'll play a HUGE part in making a difference in the lives of people living with disabilities and additional support needs in YOUR local community.
Your support will enable the individuals to not only maintain their independence and continue to live in their own home; you’ll also help them to play an active part of their community too.
About You
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!
All we’ll need you to bring is: -
* A full driving license and access to your own vehicle
* A caring and compassionate attitude
* The ability to work well in a team
* Confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity
* Great communication and organisational skills
* A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
* A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support
* Confidence in the use of computers
Shift Patterns
As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible shift patterns will fall between the hours of 0730-2100 hours and will include split shifts and weekend working on a rotational basis.
