If you are passionate about supporting children with special educational needs have experience working with SEN children, Tradewind recruitment are searching for an SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of a Mainstream Primary School based in South Liverpool. This is a Full Time role (8:30AM - 3:30PM, Monday - Friday) supporting students in KS1 in a 121 environment to ensure that pupils are able to get the most out of their education. About the Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with special educational needs. Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs). Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure each child's needs are met. Support students with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, and learning difficulties. Help create an inclusive, safe, and nurturing environment to enable all children to thrive. About You: To be successful in this role, you should have: Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting (essential). A caring and patient nature, with excellent communication skills. The ability to adapt to individual learning styles and needs. Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures. A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or SEN (desirable but not essential). Experience working with children that demonstrate challenging behaviour and a resilent nature.
