The Senior Information Analyst position is a key information role in relation to the provision of Business Intelligence and Information Management, ensuring that accurate and timely information, analysis and interpretation is available to support the successful running of the site Clinical Groups by supporting clinical care and performance management. Main duties of the job
The post holder will also be responsible for providing external and internal customers business intelligence reports designed to support and deliver the Trust objectives. The post holder will be responsible for improving and innovating reports to fully exploit data-rich clinical systems and providing interpretive analytics and commentary.

Person Specification
Experience/ Knowledge
* Proven experience working within Healthcare Informatics environment.
* Ability to write detailed analytic queries in SQL, investigate and resolve complex queries, issues and problems.
* Detailed knowledge of the NHS data dictionary and its application.
Skills/ Abilities
* Able to communicate complex issues at a level appropriate to the audience from ward to board.
* Ability to deal with project performance issues.

Salary: £51,883 to £58,544 per annum inclusive
