The post is advertised as a band 7. We encourage applications from practitioners who are currently working towards, but not necessarily meeting the full range of skills and competences for the band 7 role. If successful, you will be appointed under annex 21 of the NHS terms and conditions of service and you will be supported within your role by a development plan for 18 months. Progress to complete learning requirements will be monitored throughout your fixed term contract, and failure to achieve these may result in a decision being made on your continued employment within this role. However, where there are evidenced extenuating circumstances outside of your control that mean you are unable to complete your programme by the end of the 18-months, the Trust will review your case and endeavour to support you in completing your studies where possible. During the 18-months payment will be 70% of the top rate of band 7 pay. Actual salary £35,039.20 per annum pro rata. Following successful completion and successful attainment of skills and competences for the role the postholder will then be paid at the full band 7 (minimum point on the scalefollowing the usual pay steps). Continued support and supervision will be provided to develop you to the band 7 role. This will be an excellent development opportunity for a band 6 looking for careerdevelopment.
