Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a vacancy of Assistant Resuscitation Officer to work alongside a variety of specialties within the Trust, supporting training and clinical issues. The post holder must have the ability to work as part of a team and possesses good organisational and time management skills. The successful post holder will support the development of the resuscitation services agenda. It is expected that the post holder will be an Advanced Life Support course instructor, possess good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative as well as within a team and must also possess good IT skills. Main duties of the job Work with the Deteriorating Patient & Resuscitation Team (DP&RT) to support resus training and offer clinical expertise relating to resuscitation across the organisation. Provide support for the Emergency Medical Response Team (EMRT) when required. Facilitate provision, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of resuscitation training programmes for all grades of SWB staff within agreed service level agreements.
