Position: Senior Ethics & Independence Analyst

The Ethics and Independence (E&I) team are part of the Risk Operations Group within the Operational Excellence Hub. We monitor compliance with professional risk management and quality control policies, working with the wider Quality and Risk community across the KPMG network to develop and improve processes.
The Personal E&I team oversee compliance processes such as onboarding, mandatory training, and providing guidance on independence matters. We are the first point of contact for E&I related requests and ensure compliance with regulatory and firm policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Assistant Manager in delivering high-quality services
* Train and coach team members on compliance with E&I regulations and policies
* Assist with queries, issues, and process improvements based on lessons learned
* Escalate issues appropriately and record them accurately
* Contribute to training and development of the team
* Ensure timely completion of tasks in line with regulations and SLAs
* Assign and monitor E&I tasks using internal systems
* Maintain a strong understanding of personal independence rules
* Respond to queries and resolve E&I exceptions
* Coordinate with onboarding and other teams to resolve escalations
* Manage mailbox and helpline queries
* Generate reports and analytics for management
* Support wider compliance initiatives and projects
