Key Responsibilities:
* Manage tenancy-related matters, providing advice to tenants and ensuring compliance with the Tenancy Agreement.
* Investigate anti-social behaviour and breaches of tenancy conditions, liaising with legal representatives and attending Court hearings when required.
* Ensure that the Tenancy and Estates Service complies with legislation, policy, and regulatory requirements.
* Efficiently monitor and manage your caseload, prioritising workloads to meet performance targets.
* Maintain a visible presence on Council estates, conducting inspections to uphold high environmental standards.
* Handle property inspections, requests for permissions, and alterations.
* Review introductory tenancies in line with procedures and legislation.
* Investigate reports of abandoned properties, subletting, and trespassing.
* Provide support to vulnerable tenants, coordinating internal and external referrals.
* Maintain comprehensive records of tenant interactions and produce required reports and letters.
* Present cases at Court hearings and maintain effective relationships with internal and external agencies.
* Work collaboratively with the Income Team and Anti-Social Behaviour Team to deliver excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
* Applicants should have 3 GCSEs (Grades A-C) demonstrating strong literacy and numeracy skills, or equivalent experience showcasing these skills.
