THE POSITION: ECOMMERCE & DIGITAL MANAGER This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven individual to join a fast-paced, founder-led fashion business with ambitious growth plans. As Ecommerce & Digital Manager, you will report directly to the Founder and work closely with the marketing team. You will also manage one direct report, providing mentorship and leadership to develop their potential. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing our digital and ecommerce strategy to meet revenue and profit targets while ensuring the Aspiga story, brand values, and commitment to sustainability are highlighted throughout the customer journey. The role requires experience working in founder-led businesses, balancing strategic vision with a hands-on approach to execution. You will be responsible for managing our Shopify Plus website and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive growth. Expertise in digital performance marketing (Google Ads and Meta), SEO, affiliate marketing, and website development is essential, along with experience liaising with external agencies to deliver on key objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership & Collaboration Report directly to the Founder, providing strategic updates and actionable insights to guide decision-making and foster the brand’s growth. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align campaigns, digital content, and customer acquisition strategies with Aspiga’s performance targets and brand narrative. Act as the main point of contact for external agencies, managing day-to-day communications and ensuring alignment with Aspiga’s brand values and goals. Manage one direct report, offering guidance, support, and development opportunities to help them thrive. Support other areas or departments when needed, such as events, holiday or sickness cover, demonstrating a collaborative approach to teamwork in a small business setting. Website Management Oversee day-to-day operations of the Shopify Plus website, ensuring optimal functionality and a seamless, brand-aligned user experience (UX). Manage the upload of product SKUs, creating engaging product pages, optimizing descriptions, and overseeing imagery to reflect Aspiga’s storytelling and values. Monitor and resolve website bugs, leveraging basic HTML skills when necessary. Lead website development projects in collaboration with external developers, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Maintain a customer-focused UX that highlights Aspiga’s commitment to sustainability and ethics, optimizing for conversion rate improvement and reducing cart abandonment rates. Digital Performance Marketing Plan, execute, and optimize digital performance marketing campaigns on Google Ads and Meta platforms to drive traffic growth, revenue, and customer acquisition. Collaborate with agencies to refine paid media strategies, monitor campaign performance, and identify opportunities to improve ROI. Leverage SEO best practices to enhance organic search rankings and boost website traffic while reinforcing Aspiga’s ethical and sustainable messaging. Manage affiliate marketing programs, working with partners to amplify Aspiga’s brand story and grow sales. Digital Strategy & Campaigns Own and execute the marketing calendar, integrating Aspiga’s story and sustainability values into promotions, product launches, and brand activations to drive revenue growth and website traffic. Develop and refine acquisition and retention strategies to reduce customer acquisition costs (CAC) and enhance customer lifetime value (CLV), ensuring alignment with Aspiga’s ethos. Use platforms like Klaviyo and Sweet Analytics to run targeted CRM and email campaigns, incorporating Aspiga’s values to encourage repeat purchase rates. Drive loyalty and retention through Aspiga’s Loyalty Program and segmentation strategies, focusing on meaningful engagement aligned with the brand story. Trading & Analytics Track and analyze ecommerce KPIs, including revenue, conversion rate, AOV, traffic, and repeat purchase rates, using Google Analytics and Sweet Analytics. Regularly report performance to the Founder and senior team, identifying key risks and opportunities for growth. Collaborate with the merchandising team to align stock availability with campaigns, ensuring that the product assortment reflects Aspiga’s sustainable values and meets customer needs. International Expansion Support Aspiga’s international growth initiatives by optimizing global UX and checkout processes through tools like Global-e and Shopify Plus. Tailor region-specific strategies to enhance traffic and conversion rates while maintaining a consistent brand story across markets. Innovation & Development Identify and recommend new third-party tools and technologies to improve ecommerce efficiency, CX, and alignment with Aspiga’s mission. Lead A/B testing initiatives to optimize the conversion funnel, focusing on category-to-product-page navigation and checkout processes. Manage the digital development roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of projects and measurable improvements in key KPIs. KEY ATTRIBUTES Proven Experience Demonstrable success in ecommerce trading and digital marketing within an SME retailer, ideally in the fashion industry. Experience working in founder-led businesses, with a strong ability to align with the founder’s vision and adapt to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Expertise in digital performance marketing (Google Ads, Meta), SEO, affiliate marketing, and website development. Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus, Google Analytics, Klaviyo, and Sweet Analytics. Commercial Acumen Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions and identify new opportunities. Confidence in managing budgets, forecasting, and setting measurable performance targets based on key ecommerce metrics.
