Do you want to be in at the grassroots of a pioneering and visionary mental health support company? If the answers to these questions are yes, we may be the company for you!
About Us:
So, who are we? Empower Support's Thrive at Home is a new service offering mental health care in the form of support in peoples' own homes. Thrive at Home strives to move away from the traditional domiciliary care model. We provide recovery focused individually tailored support to adults with mental illness in the localities of Swansea and Neath Port Talbot.
Our vision for 'Thrive at Home' is simple, we believe that every person has the right to ‘be their best self and live their best life’, a life which is best lived out in the community and not in hospital.
Empower Support is owned and run by registered mental health nurses with extensive experience within the NHS across multiple fields. We have seen the need for high standard post-hospital social care; thus we strive to ensure that our clients have both the support team needed to thrive in the community. We strive to create a positive working culture based around our values, to appreciate all staff, honour the key work that they carry out and recognise the importance of our staff.
As a company, we pride ourselves on providing a high standard of service user-centred support in order to achieve a fundamental and lasting improvement in quality of life. We place great emphasis on holistic recovery and a sense of purpose and belonging. We believe that each and every person has the ability to grow and develop, moving beyond ‘clinical recovery’ and ‘symptom management’. With the correct support, individuals with a mental illness can go on to achieve worthwhile and independent lifestyles.
Empower Support has an exciting opportunity for those who wish to take the next step in their career.
As a Recovery Worker you should hold the same values as Empower Support, working towards breaking down the stigma that surrounds mental illness, providing second to none care and supporting and ensuring the well-being and comfort of the people we support.
