About the role
This is an exciting time to join the Online team! We are looking for the next Lead Programme Manager to join the F&F Online team.
We have an ambitious vision for the launch of our F&F brand Online, and the project spans many functions including Online, Technology, and F&F.
Working collaboratively as part of a squad across Online, Technology and F&F, you will lead how we translate the vision and strategy into tangible, Agile Delivery. Using superb comprehensive thinking skills, you’ll own the Programme plan and create a clear picture of the overall programme highlighting the key dependencies, achievements, risks, and opportunities. You will be the face of our Programme plan to senior collaborators and will manage effective Governance to drive this Programme forward.
At Tesco, we believe in the power of spending more time together, face to face, than apart. So, during your working week, you can expect to spend 60% of your time in one of our office locations or local sites and the rest remotely. We also recognise that life looks a little different for each of us. Some people are at the start of their careers, some want the freedom to do the things they love. Others are going through life-changing moments like becoming a carer, nearing retirement, adapting to parenthood, or something else. That’s why at Tesco, we always welcome a conversation about flexible working. So, talk to us throughout your application about how we can support.
You will be responsible for
* Owning and building the end-to-end programme plan for launch of F&F Online by consolidating inputs from the various teams working on each stream and identifying dependencies between streams, risks, and opportunities.
* Contributing to the programme vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap.
* Surfacing risks, dependencies, and trade-offs across the programme.
* Managing complex change in an organised and structured manner.
* Managing customer engagement cross-functionally and across all levels in the business to ensure programme priorities are aligned across the relevant business plans and are well sponsored.
* Owning the communication process to support the project, ensuring creativity, clear, concise, and timely communication relevant to the target audience.
* Creating simple and effective methods to demonstrate the end-to-end benefits or impacts of projects within the programme and aligning customers around them.
* Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.
* Establishing and running effective governance across all business units and at all levels.
* Embedding sustainable change across multiple functions.
You will need
* Experience of defining and delivering complex programmes and projects.
* Experience of delivering sustainable change and embedding new ways of working across broad groups of stakeholders.
* The ability to build strong working relationships with peers, partners, and teams across the business. Able to leverage these relationships to build consensus and drive alignment.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).
