Within the Specialist Medicine CSU we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our established Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Working alongside many other experienced professionals our CSU strives to deliver the best care.
As the CSU Deputy Director of Nursing (DDoN), you will be responsible for nursing within our defined portfolio of services, representing the CSU at a number of Trust forums, and leading defined projects delegated by the Chief Nurse or Director of Nursing (Ops) for the wider Trust.
Working closely with your CSU SLT and Chief Nurse Team, you will ensure quality and safety is delivered and financial, strategic, and operational plans are met.

You will engage the multi-professional team in a continuous drive for quality, as well as demonstrating extensive clinical and leadership experience.

Experience
* Significant current Operational management / leadership experience at 8a / Matron level in an acute NHS organisation.
* Experience in leading and managing staff
* Experience of mentorship and staff development
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of Health Policy and its impact on the Professional Nursing Agenda and BTHFT
* Experience of delivering service improvements with demonstrable positive impact on patient safety, patient experience, and quality of care
* Evidence of a track record of developing nursing, or research experience and audit application

Qualifications
* Degree level Registered Nurse (with current registration with NMC)

* Evidence of commitment to continuous learning and application in practice
* Masters level study in a relevant subject with evidence of practical application of expertise at this level
