About The Role Join one of our many growing Departments, working as an Intern where you’ll gain exposure and insights into some ground breaking projects whilst playing an integral role in driving forward some initiatives. Whether your passion is Technology, Data or Sales, we have an opportunity for you to make a real impact on the business and industry. This is a 10 week programme, starting in early July and finishing in early September. Depen ding on which team you join, your responsibilities will include: Analytics Assist the launch of multiple channels Play an integral role in the launch of internal rewards programme Data Science and Modelling; creating valuations model s and decision model audits Business Intelligence / Financial Modelling Support one of our BI Manager’s on developing our rewards and engagement programme Implement new data controls and ways of reporting Develop proof of concept for Artificial Intelligence BI Marketing / Partnerships Conduct research on competitors’ credit card offerings, promotions, and partnership models. Analyse industry trends to identify potential opportunities for Jaja Finance. Gather insights on customer preferences and behaviours to refine marketing strategies. Product Support our Design team to improve collaborations files that sit between Design and Engineering Support user testing sessions by gathering insights on product usability and pain points. Assist in tracking and organizing product roadmap updates and backlog tasks. Technology: Acting as an AI Engineer, you’d support in building and training ML models for analytics and fraud detection. Experiment with different algorithms and evaluate model performance using metrics like accuracy, precision, and recall. Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers on product development. Operations: Support Head of Transformation on an in-housing project; gathering project requirements and coordinating project timescales. Work with customer Services to track and analyse complaints, chargebacks or fraud cases. Identify ways to streamline workflows within Operations About You We’re seeking motivated and curious individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, growing fintech environment. You have a keen interest in data, technology, and financial services, with a strong desire to learn and contribute to real business challenges. You are: A good communicator – able to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate with different teams. Analytical and detail-oriented – comfortable working with data, identifying trends, and problem-solving. Proactive and eager to learn – willing to take on new challenges and adapt in a dynamic environment. Organised and adaptable – able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
