In this crucial role, you'll be providing comprehensive technical telephone support to customers, including first-line support, triaging and resolving complex customer enquiries promptly and efficiently.
If the fault cannot be repaired over the phone, you'll be ordering parts required to repair and dispatching a technician within the agreed service levels.
Responsibilities will include:
* Utilising troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to resolve technical problems
* Ensure jobs raised for a technician visit have the correct parts forecasted
* Ensure fault call visits are scheduled effectively
* Provide an efficient telephone support service
* Build, maintain and develop customer relationships
* Chase and investigate issues regarding job completion
* Advising customers of additional products and services that might be appropriate for their needs
We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, has a can-do attitude, and experience in being a proactive team member. You'll be able to use your initiative and enjoy working in a busy and challenging environment.
Being an excellent communicator is essential; ideally, you'll have experience in a customer service role and good IT skills.
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire (with hybrid working available)
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
Salary: Competitive
Duration: 12-month fixed term contract
