We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Conwy and Denbighshire CAMHS leadership team and apply for a team manager post in our Conwy child and adolescent mental health service.
Conwy CAMHS is based in Llandudno, North Wales. The team is multidisciplinary and offers a range of early intervention and direct assessment and therapeutic services to school-aged children, adolescents, and their families, referred with a range of emotional and behavioural disorders. The team leader is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the team in partnership with clinical and admin leads and the service manager.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, sharing our passion for innovation and continuous service improvement. They will be able to demonstrate compassionate leadership skills and a commitment to facilitating an open learning culture that embraces the ideas and expertise of team members to improve care and service delivery. For this, you will need excellent relationship building and engagement skills and be capable of developing positive partnerships with a range of stakeholders. You will understand and embrace the challenge of delivering a service, which is high quality, efficient, and sustainable, in keeping with the principles of prudent healthcare.
Main duties of the job
A background of working within Child Mental Health Services and a knowledge of the Choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA) would be advantageous. However, we are also keen to hear from candidates from other clinical specialities connected to supporting emotional health and wellbeing or children and families, and can demonstrate transferable skills in managing performance, quality, and safety.

Qualifications
* Relevant professional Qualification and active professional registration in health or social care related profession.
* Continued professional and management development.
* Recognised and relevant management qualification or willingness to work towards (must be achieved 1-2 years).
* Evidence of mentoring.
* Eligible to practice under the mental health measure Wales 2010 (includes mental health nursing, social work, psychology).
Experience
* Management experience at band 6 or above.
