Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Chiller Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining complex chiller systems.
Main Responsibilities:
* Respond to service calls in an effective and efficient manner.
* Conduct risk assessments and document prior to all works to be carried out.
* Complete all work to an agreed high level.
* Run large sites, single-handed or supervising other technicians, to the full satisfaction of the customer.
* Troubleshoot and support technically challenging breakdowns.
* Commission standard and large capacity products.
* Advise on wider system installation and identify system issues beyond the scope of supply.
Requirements:
* C&G Qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
* Full UK Driving Licence (or equivalent).
* C&G or equivalent in Safe Handling of Refrigerants.
* F-Gas qualified.
* Very high level of technical competence is required with relevant experience of both Carrier and other manufacturer's equipment.
* Experience within a similar role in the HVAC industry, especially chillers.
* Experience within a Technician role in the HVAC industry.
* HNC/ONC in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
