Reporting to the IOI Client Service Manager, the Quality Manager role will involve leading a team of Dispense Representatives to achieve all internal and client targets, including quality, sales, and customer marketing initiatives in a quality and compliance-driven environment. The core focus of the role is to deliver our Client's KPIs through the implementation of efficient and effective field management strategies and programmes in line with business objectives as defined by the company. While the focus for this role will be the management of a team of Dispense Reps, the role may in the future also involve managing other teams within the wider CPM Quality Service Team such as the Service, Refrigeration, or Project Teams.
The priority of the role is the delivery of targets through the coaching and development of individual team members. It will also involve auditing and managing activity levels in the field as well as monitoring the levels of processed/completed tasks using the internal software system.
Key Responsibilities:
1. People:
o Manage, lead, motivate, train, and develop the Dispense Quality team.
o Maximize field coaching, support, and training opportunities within defined schedules.
o Conduct one-to-one performance appraisals on a per cycle basis with each individual team member.
o Regular communication with the team to ensure two-way feedback.
o Establish communication with the Dispense team daily.
2. Performance:
o Consistently achieve agreed objectives across all key performance indicators.
o Set, measure, and monitor the KPIs with regular reporting.
o Use Power BI and Edge/Salesforce reporting to monitor performance.
o Plan, organize, review, and control Dispense activities and operations in the district.
o Ensure that Dispense reps are successful in reaching/exceeding their targets as set by the organization.
o Maintain communications within the team to ensure field opportunities are recognized and celebrated.
3. Process:
o Stakeholder Management (including internal and external points of contact).
o Primary point of contact for Diageo RQM.
o Organize and implement all Dispense tasks and work to agreed standards.
o In-field training of staff and performance management including account auditing.
o Accurate management and distribution of equipment stocks in the district.
o General management of relevant people records through CPM systems.
o Implementation and monitoring of all policies and procedures relevant to the role, including (but not limited to) HR, Health and Safety, Payroll, Tools and operational processes, expenses, etc.
o Accurate recording of Diageo assets in trade.
o Product Quality Tracking and reporting.
o Advice to traders on the installation of draught beer systems.
o Collating and submitting reports to CSM and Client, ensuring accuracy and relevancy.
o Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed as per the safety statement and safety handbook.
o Ensure CSM is informed and updated regarding all key activities.
o Generate new ideas and ways of working.
o Consistently strive to reach the highest standards of performance for the client.
o Operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks.
o Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager.
Requirements:
1. Experience:
o People management experience desirable (dispersed field teams preferable).
o Experience working with draught dispense systems in the on-trade industry.
o Experience of working in a customer-facing environment.
o High level of IT knowledge in using technology to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
o Comfortable working in a fast-paced, urgent environment.
o Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
2. Qualifications:
o Full clean driving licence.
o Sales qualification desirable.
o Third level qualification desirable.
o IBA Dispense Systems Accreditation desirable.
