Our client is looking to expand their Technical Team and appoint a Quality Manager to join their growing business. With the support of a highly experienced Technical Manager, you will be overseeing a small team of QA operatives and taking responsibility for all aspects of quality on the shop floor.
Key responsibilities:
1. Ensure accurate records are maintained
2. Conduct root cause analysis on any quality issues
3. Prepare regular reports for senior management
4. Oversee pest control visits to site
5. Communicate technical and quality information to all staff on site
6. Monitor factory and hygiene standards daily
7. Work closely with NPD regarding trials through production
8. Record and monitor customer complaints
9. Complete checks on labelling to ensure legal compliance standards are adhered to
The candidate:
1. Proven experience in a food related manufacturing setting
2. Minimum Food Safety and HACCP Level 3 qualifications
3. An ability to manage a small team of staff in Quality and deputise for the Technical Manager in their absence
