Looking for a great work/life balanced job? We, the Catering Department at Charterhouse, have the ideal venue, location and team to make your dream job a reality. Serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner to our wonderful students, staff and guests 7 days a week.
The best part is that every 3rd weekend we have completely off, allowing for great social event planning throughout the year. Weekends are also much quieter than during the week in our main dining rooms, but we have amazing Saturday sports days. Additionally, we are closed over the Christmas and New Year period, providing more time with family and friends.
Another selling point is free meals while on duty, full uniform provided, and access to the onsite gym at a very reduced cost, as low as £50 for the year!
We also offer free car parking, 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays (with every long weekend off), a pension scheme, and career development opportunities.
In return, we only ask you to be flexible in your working approach as it will be a 5 out of 7-day job, with morning and evening shifts. Currently, we are looking for more evening staff with a shift pattern that normally runs from 12:30 to 20:30, so you can be home by 21:00 to catch up on your favourite TV shows.
Experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given and development opportunities are available to all employees. Holroyd Howe is passionate about continuously developing their people.
