GEOSIGHT Ltd has an open job vacancy for a Survey Tender Engineer to assist the Survey Tender Manager with all tender submissions and administrative tasks.
GEOSIGHT is a multidisciplinary survey company experienced in undertaking a wide variety of surveys from Topographical and Boundary Surveys to Hydrographic Surveys, Dimensional Control Surveys and Marine Vessel scanning in the UK and abroad.
Production of high-quality tender submissions, ensuring all processes are adhered to.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
* Liaising with technical teams to ensure the correct technical approach is advised and offered to the client.
* Liaising / Negotiating with third-party suppliers and vessel brokers to ensure the most commercially competitive quotation is received.
* Writing the proposal documentation, collating information from relevant departments.
* Pricing the tender including contacting third-party suppliers and vessel brokers to ensure the most commercially competitive proposal is achieved.
* Collating the tender in full, identifying any deliverables required and coordinating the production of these accordingly.
* Hosting / Attending Internal and External tender meetings where necessary.
* Addressing tender clarifications and liaising with the team to ensure all the questions can be addressed.
* Efficient handover from tendering to operations, ensuring all departmental requirements are captured.
* Liaising with Commercial & Tendering Manager to ensure all risks are captured and mitigated.
QHSE responsibilities
To have a general understanding of the areas of our QHSE Management System and OEG’s QHSE aims and objectives that are relevant to the role.
Comply with the requirements of OEG Energy Group Policies and the responsibilities within the wider QHSE Management System.

Skills and experiences
Experience in offshore survey/engineering/ROV role preferred but not essential
Good communications skills.
Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proactive, Self-driven and Assertive.
Substantial experience using MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Proactive in prioritising own workload and assigned areas of responsibility to others.
Qualifications
Degree qualified in survey/engineering subject (survey, marine, offshore related is preferred)
