Location: Cannock, WS12 2HA – Hybrid, initially 3 days in office per week

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic and high-growth team at Phoenix Health & Safety, part of Wilmington plc.
In this role, you will be at the heart of our sales efforts, identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential leads, and collaborating closely with the Marketing team and Account Executives.
You’ll work with inbound leads generated through marketing activities and actively prospect through calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
Starting with a UK-based focus, you’ll have the chance to broaden your expertise into Middle Eastern markets with tailored training.
This is more than just a job; it’s a stepping stone to a thriving sales career. Within 12 to 18 months, you could see significant progression in your role, responsibilities, and earnings.
Job Purpose, Tasks, and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
* Identifying and researching potential leads using various sources, including historical enquiries, online databases, social media, and marketing campaigns.
* Proactively reaching out to cold and warm leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate interest.
* Qualifying prospects based on criteria like budget, timeline, and needs, and scheduling meetings for the sales team.
* Responding promptly to support marketing outreach in the UK, UAE, and South Africa.
* Logging interactions, follow-ups, and lead status accurately in HubSpot.
* Nurturing leads and driving them further along the sales funnel.
* Consistently meeting activity targets related to calls made, emails sent, LinkedIn connections gained, and meetings booked.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage prospects effectively.
* The ability to identify customer pain points and present our solutions convincingly.
* Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), LinkedIn, email automation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A goal-oriented attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* A collaborative spirit, positive mindset, and eagerness to learn.
* Resilience to handle objections and maintain a solution-focused approach.
* Flexibility to adapt tactics when needed to achieve targets.
To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have:
* Experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
* Previous experience in prospecting, outreach, or market research.
