This would include undertaking initial assessments for children and young people referred into the service, ensuring safeguarding, risk management and care planning are implemented to the highest standard, and at all times that the service offers effective patient-centred care. Holding a diverse case load of young people with complex emotional needs which requires significant attention to detail particularly around risk management in the community, thus co-ordinating and working with external agencies such as social care and education etc. You will have the opportunity to co-facilitate groups and treatment alongside multidisciplinary team colleagues to offer evidenced based care. The post entails working in a lively, busy multidisciplinary CAMHS Team delivering high quality interventions to children, young people and their families, including assessments, individual and group work.
