Sustainability Co-Ordinator Recruitment
We are currently recruiting a dedicated Sustainability Co-Ordinator to help ensure the smooth running of operations in Chartwells on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Sustainability Co-Ordinator, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Support the Head of Wellness, Nutrition, and Sustainability in delivering our nutrition and sustainability strategy.
2. Assist with on-site activation of sustainability and nutrition pop-ups.
3. Support with the Ways to be Well H&W programme and associated content development and marketing.
4. Analyze food procurement data on hot spot categories with Foodbuy (procurement team).
5. Assist with our carbon labelling project with Foodsteps.
6. Support Nutrition & Sustainability workstreams for our Centres of Excellence programme.
7. Assist with behavioral science research projects across our sites.
8. Support monthly Climate Club agenda.
9. Assist with sustainability audits across our sites.
10. Support on food waste management across the business.
11. Review packaging solutions and reusable initiatives on-site.
12. Ensure healthy and sustainable menu compliance across the business.
13. Develop resources for communicating sustainability messages across the business.
Key Skills and Experience:
1. Educated to degree level or equivalent.
2. Competent in Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities.
3. Strong communications skills and a clear knowledge of, and passion for, sustainability.
4. Analytical capability.
5. Environmental reporting experience.
