What’s the OpportunityRidge has established Healthcare Planning as a new discipline; this is an opportunity to be in at the beginning of that journey. In this role you will work on a diverse range of healthcare projects with a variety of clients to develop business opportunities to grow the healthcare planning discipline across Ridge. What you need to do to be effective in this role• Provide Healthcare Planning and leadership: Both internally and externally• Provide business case input• Develop estate strategies• Business Development: provide assistance to grow the Healthcare Planning discipline in the Ridge offices and support/cross sell other disciplines• Leadership and management: Assist with management of teams of internal and external design consultants• Stakeholder engagement: Effective communicate project expectations to the team members and stakeholders• Manage existing client relationships and assist in the development of further opportunities• Assist with the establishment of detailed client’s brief and responsibilities of consultants and specialists• Establish lines of communication and reporting procedures with the client and within the design team• Arrange studies and surveys: Assist with the identifying the need and arrange feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation etc• Build teams: Assist with advice on / implement the selection and appointment of all necessary consultants and specialists• Chair progress, co-ordination and project meetings throughout the contract period• Prepare regular reports to clients on all aspects of the project • Day-to-day responsibility for projects• Provide single point of contact taking responsibility for all aspects of the project and liaise with the clientYou will be an excellent communicator who can articulate complicated issues between our clients and our project teams. You will demonstrate ambition and a willingness to work flexibly, both in the office and on-site, and possess commercial awareness and ability to lead teams. The skills and experience you need to have for this role• Degree qualified (essential)• UK/NHS health sector experience• Knowledge of NHS property and capital project policy, processes, guidance and stakeholders.• The ability to lead successful delivery of often more than one project and manage client relationships, including business development• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills• Proficient in the use of MS Office and MS Project (or alternative scheduling software) is essential• Must be working towards accreditation under a professional body.Qualifications:• PRINCE 2, MSP, APMPQ, Better Business Cases, or MSc Planning Buildings for Health
