Assistant EHC Assessment & Review Officer
£200 - £250 per day
3-month contract initially, likely to be extended
Hybrid working - 1-2 days per week in office

Spencer Clarke Group are looking for an experienced EHC Assessment & Review Officer for our local authority client in Greater Manchester.
As EHC Assessment & Review Officer you will assist the Lead Assistant Officer, SEN and Senior Officers with EHC plans and consultations whilst supporting families and young people including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Essential Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of SEN Code of Practice.
* Experience and understanding of Education, Health and Care Assessments.
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Providing a first point of contact for families when they begin the EHC process, explaining how it works.
* Supporting the EHC Officer in building and maintaining relationships.
* Working with the SEN Officer to update families in an empathetic manner.
Skills required:
* Ability to prioritise issues.
* Experience in building relationships with all stakeholders.
* Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
