Account Executive – Stockport – Hybrid working
As an Account Executive, you will serve as a proactive communicator with a deep understanding of PR strategy, media relations, and client management. You will be instrumental in driving successful campaigns, nurturing client relationships, and supporting junior team members. Reporting to the Account Manager, you will work collaboratively to deliver outstanding results across client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management:
* Support the Account Manager in implementing client KPIs.
* Translate clients’ business objectives into effective PR strategies.
* Attend client meetings to provide updates and actionable insights.
* Contribute to reporting processes, including End of Month, EOQ, and EOY updates.
* Independently create accurate media lists and collaborate with SAE/AM on pitch strategies.
* Identify feature opportunities and develop pitches in consultation with the AM.
Campaign Delivery:
* Plan and execute PR and content campaigns, ensuring alignment with client goals and KPIs.
* Write press releases, articles, case studies, and other client-facing materials.
* Manage press office operations, including proactive and reactive media relations.
* Monitor, evaluate, and report on campaign performance using analytics tools.
* Create Canva graphics and video content
Media Relations:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers.
* Secure media coverage across print, broadcast, and online platforms.
* Respond to media inquiries and assist in preparing spokespeople for interviews.
* Prepare Social content plans (SCPs) based on AM guidance, maintaining an 80% quality benchmark (one review and minor edits allowed).
* Identify opportunities for events, awards, and seminars.
* Proactively build sector knowledge through reading, research, and event attendance.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
* 6 months experience in PR, communications, or a related field.
* Demonstrated ability to manage client accounts and deliver successful campaigns.
* Strong writing and storytelling skills.
* Established media contacts and knowledge of the media landscape.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
Working Patterns: 2/3 days a week in the office
