The main objective of the role is to deliver the commercial requirements for a portfolio of highways projects within the region. Key duties will include: Leading the robust commercial management of several high profile highways projects. Managing client, supply chain and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Ensuring projects are compliant with contractual terms, and that they achieve the business' objectives. Further Details Responsible for delivering a portfolio of highways projects in Norwich and the broader East Anglia region, with project values ranging from £40m - £50m. Our client is looking for an experienced and robust commercial professional who is confident, and has a proven ability to, manage challenging subcontractors to drive contract and project performance. All projects are delivered under NEC4 Option C forms of contract with packages across various elements of highways including groundworks, earthworks, structures, drainage, and surfacing. Candidate Requirements Our client is looking for Managing Quantity Surveyors looking for a career move. They are also keen to see experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors looking for career progression. Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor, delivering projects using NEC forms of contract. You must be comfortable managing these contracts end-to-end. Must have experience of delivering highways projects within either a main contractor or specialist subcontractor environment. Proven ability to manage challenging subcontractors, and of interfacing and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and clients.
